You can find videos here on or my Video Page of when we were on filming for Star Struck!   Sleeping Lions - This was a songwriting Duo with one of my best and long time friends, Bob Cirillo.  We wrote quite a few songs together, recorded them and he worked at my studio, Lion Recording, as well.  He was the guy who got me into sequencing songs of the Computer and turned me on to my Mac Classic (which still runs) and Master Tracks Pro midi sequencing and music programming software. These two aspects of my musical career were melded together as the Sleeping Lions writing duo melded into the band The Ledge with Jim Cote on Drums, Bob Ferrier on Guitar, John Bryskiewicz on Bass, Bob Cirillo on Secondary keys and Myself on Primary Keys and Vocals.

Grassy Knolls

Grains of Paradise

I was primarily the vocalist with a few little keys parts or guitar with my son Jesse on Drums, Ken Kareta on Bass, Andrew Dickinson on Hammond B3 and Flute, and a few different guitarists but their names I honestly cannot remember. Some I wrote, some Andrew wrote and some were co-written by the band during the early to mid 90's.

Other Writers / Bands / Special Recordings - Songs 1 "Playin' With My Heart" & 2 "Lookin' For A Partner" are with a group called Ieasha & Kim with The Paraphenilia.  The 2 songs were written and arranged by Sam Colston and I was the keyboard player.  This band went on to become the Touring Band for "Xavier" in the early 80's with our Album (which did not include these 2 songs) with a #1 R & B hit called "Work That Sucker To Death" featuring Bootsy Collins and toured with Kool & The Gand among many others.

Songs 3 "Double Take" & 4 "Are You Afraid of The dark" were written by Rick King, a truly great guitarist and friend, on which I had the honor of being the Vocalist and playing some keys on.

Song 5 was written by me, "Why?", was one I wrote in '89 and recorded at my studio "Lion Recording" and (6) "Memory I Love To Touch" was written by my very good friend, Bart Lewis, and recorded at my home studio and I played all the instruments and sang.  You can check out many of the songs we have written together on our CD, "Music from River Front Studio" in the Store on this website or on the Lewis-Cas Music Website

The last 5 songs - were written for family: (6) "This Is Right", for my son Jesse and his wife Myssie on their engagement. (7) "The Equation of Love" for my son Justin and his wife Nicole on their engagement, (8) "My Princess" was written for my niece and god-child (but as close to a daughter to me as anything else) for that very reason and (9) "From Yesterday To Always", which I wrote for my wife, bride, love of my life, Deb, for our 30th anniversary (hitting 49 this year) and this is just one of so many I have written for her or she inspired me to write!!

Music can save the world in my opinion - We just all have to start listening to it together, whatever we listen to individually, and allow it's energy to heal the world!!” - Me
